Meet Jason Perry

JASON PERRY is an experienced minister, author and teacher. He has served as the Urban Youth Ministries Coordinator for the Reformed Church in America as well as the National Director of Urban Ministries for Emerging Young Leaders. Pastor Perry possesses extensive experience training youth and adults, having served as a teacher at Youth For Christ’s DC/LA Super Conferences, Generation 21 Leadership Conference (Nairobi, Kenya), as well as local and regional Volunteer and Staff conferences. He is the author of How Far Can You Go? Straight Talk About Sexual Purity. This book, which stresses character development (purity) rather than behavior modification (abstinence) has gained a broad spectrum of acceptance as an important resource for teaching people how to safely navigate the sexually saturated world in which we live. In addition to being published in India, it has also been translated into Spanish and French languages. He also authors the life-inspired, internet-published devotional, Morning Manna. He recently developed the not-for-profit publishing company Oak Tree Publications for the purpose of advancing the Kingdom of God throughout the world through the distribution of Biblically based printed media. They are currently working to publish and distribute 180,000 copies of HFCYG? to Ghana and Togo, West Africa.

Rev. Perry has earned a Bachelor’s degree from the University of Illinois (Champaign-Urbana) and a Master of Divinity degree from Trinity Evangelical Divinity School (Deerfield, IL). He is the founding pastor of Living Oaks Fellowship in Centennial, CO. Originally from Hopkins Park, IL, he now lives in Aurora, CO with his wife, Sharon, and their two children.
